The 2015 INCITE Call for Proposals opens April 16th and closes June 27th, 2014. Through an annual call for proposals, the 2015 INCITE program will deliver more than five billion core hours of compute time on two of the nation’s most powerful high-performance supercomputers for fundamental research: the Cray XK7 (Titan) system at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) and the IBM Blue Gene/Q (Mira) systems at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF). Typical awards average around 75 million core-hours.
In preparation for the open call for proposals, the INCITE program invites you to participate in an INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar, offered on April 22, 2014 and repeated on May 15, 2014. Free and open to the public, the webinars will provide both prospective and returning users the opportunity to get specific answers to questions about how to write an effective INCITE proposal. The INCITE Program Manager and each of the two Leadership Computing Facilities will present. The webinar will run approximately 1.5 hours.
