The 2018 INCITE Call for Proposals opens April 17 and closes June 23, 2017. Through an annual call for proposals, the 2018 INCITE program will deliver more than five billion core hours of compute time on two of the nation’s most powerful high-performance supercomputers for fundamental research: Mira, a 10-petaflops IBM Blue Gene/Q system at Argonne, and Titan, a 27-petaflops Cray XK7 at Oak Ridge. In addition, certain 2018 INCITE awards will receive time on Argonne’s new Intel/Cray system, a 9.65-petaflops system called Theta.
In preparation for the open call for proposals, the INCITE program invites you to participate in an INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar, offered on April 19 and repeated on May 18, and June 6, 2017. Free and open to the public, the webinars will provide both prospective and returning users the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to write an effective INCITE proposal. The INCITE Program Manager and representatives from each of the two Leadership Computing Facilities will present.
